Myths and fairy tales carry patterns of meaning through image, symbol, and story. They invite us into an imaginal realm where seeing and interacting becomes sacred and playful, where imagination meets the heart.
They open us to enduring questions:
How might we meet adversity?
What is a meaningful life?
How do we find the courage to follow the higher calling of what we are becoming—even when there is no path?
Through embodied artistic experience and shared ritual, A Feast for the Soul invites us to honor the turning of the season and discover what becomes possible when we gather together.
Small Theater Matters
Small theater is one of the places where a community can gather around ideas that cannot be measured, but only experienced. It gives artists room to experiment, audiences room to encounter something unexpected, and creates a space for the alchemy of exchange between artist and audience.
Throughout history, small theaters, local artists, storytellers, musicians, and poets have been seedbeds of cultural life. They keep imagination alive close to home. They create spaces where new ideas can take root—not simply because they are profitable, but because they are meaningful, inspiring and generative.
That is the kind of space we are trying to cultivate with Mythic Heart Theatre.
